Award flexibility welcomed

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia welcomes yesterday’s decision by Fair Work Australia Vice President Graeme Watson to ease the three hour minimum shift requirement imposed on students wanting to work in after-school retail jobs.

It is a win for flexibility and for common sense. However, the decision does not flow on automatically to

other awards, including the Pharmacy Industry Award 2010.
